Safety Rest Areas provide highway travelers safe and convenient facilities to rest during a long journey. Washington State has 48 Safety Rest Areas to serve travelers within our state.
Recreational Vehicles (RV) Sanitary Dump Stations are provided at select Washington Safety Rest Areas. These Dump Stations are maintained through RV licensing taxes. All of the RV Dump Stations west of the Cascade Mountains are open all year long for use. Please make sure you leave the dump station as clean or cleaner than you found it.
